Evelien

Evelien is vrijwilliger bij het Rode Kruis, Rock Werchter en Java.

"Ik ben Evelien. Ik zit in twee organisaties, namelijk op Rock Werchter bij de Java en ik zit ook bij het Rode Kruis. Bij het Rode Kruis ben ik econoom en doe ik alle soorten klusjes. Maar ik vind het ook heel fijn om buiten te kunnen gaan wandelen en de boekjes van het Rode Kruis van Maasakker uit te delen. Zo gaan we toch een schone wandeling maken in de natuur en dat geeft mij rust. Werchter is dan weer heel druk en die drukte vind ik ook leuk. Want je bent weg met je vrienden en je familie en alles tegelijk en dat is plezant."

"I am Evelien. I am involved in two organisations: namely at festival Rock Werchter, at the Java and I am also with the Belgium Red Cross. At the Red Cross, I am an economist and I do all kinds of tasks. But I also really enjoy being able to go for a walk outside and hand out the Red Cross books “Maasakker”. This allows us to have a nice walk in nature, which gives me peace of mind. Rock Werchter, on the other hand, is very busy, and I enjoy the hustle and bustle of it all. It's fun to be away with my friends and family for a while and just enjoy the experience."
